Andy Crook

is a theatre teacher, director and performer. After completeing a BA in Drama at Hull University he trained at The École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, Paris. He has performed with various companies in the UK, France and USA and teaches regularly in drama schools in the UK and colleges and universities in Ireland. He has taught acting at Birmingham School of Acting as well as setting up the BA in Community & Applied Theatre. He was a regular teacher at the Accademia Dell'Arte, Arezzo, Italy on the MFA in Physical Theatre and recently taught on the BA in European Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College. He has taught and directed regularly on the BA Drama & Theatre Studies programme at the University College Cork. Andy directs and performs with his company Articulate Anatomy Theatre as well as directing and performing for companies and colleges nationally and internationally. His most recent work has been with Phillip Zarrilli in the Llanarth Group in Wales and with Gaitkrash Theatre in Cork.
