Andy Crook

has created over fifty pieces of work for theatre companies, colleges and drama schools in England and in Ireland. He likes to work collaboratively with people whether that is with a text, an adaptation of a text or the creation of an entirely new piece of work. His work is visual and rooted in the actors' physicality. Creating an ensemble is fundamental to his process. It is borne out of structured improvisation, development of technique and play. He draws on the actors' response to material and on their own creative spirit.  He believes in the imaginative power of both actor and audience and gives room to both.

Andy writes under the name AN Clifton.
